Details OB Triage unit in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 14 monitored ante-partum beds Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500 deliveries per month 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage Perinatal Transport Program in place Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (TX or compact) required BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross NRP certification from AAP/AHA Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service preferred S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Provide direct patient care within a high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery/Women's Emergency Department setting Unit is expanding in early 2026 to a new Women's Tower Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, with radius mileage varying by facility location American Traveler Job ID P-747682.
