HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · BLS · Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Previous L/D or Ante experience · List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Non stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips · Magnesium administration, heparin drips Best personality Fit: · Teamwork oriented · Good communication skills Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color - navy blue · no-call requirements about the unit(s): · Number of Beds -24 · Number of Staff – 26 · Type of staff: 1 charge, 4 RN’s, 1 clerk during day. no PCT’s at night · Patient Ratios – 3:1 and 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity · · EMR – Meditech and CPN · Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable?
