As a Learning & Development Manager, you will serve as an enterprise learning consultant and program leader across our divisions. You will partner with business leaders to understand performance needs, identify root causes and recommend learning or non-learning solutions aligned with business priorities. You will design and facilitate instructor-led learning, lead major initiatives from planning through implementation, and coach training coordinators, department trainers and leaders.

This is an opportunity to influence learning strategy, guide complex programs and support meaningful performance improvements across the organization. The position is based in Orlando and may travel up to 20% of the time

Role at a glance

• Location: Orlando, Florida
• Travel: May travel up to 20% of the time
• Team scope: No formal direct reports; coaches training coordinators, department trainers and leaders and may direct project team members

What you’ll do 

• Lead discovery and needs analysis with business partners across divisions to diagnose performance gaps and identify appropriate solutions.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships, manage expectations and influence decisions through clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Design instructor-led learning using adult learning and instructional design practices, including objectives, content, activities, assessments and participant materials.
• Facilitate complex or high-visibility learning experiences in person and virtually, adapting delivery to varied audiences and business needs.
• Own enterprise learning programs from planning through implementation, including scope, milestones, communications, resources and success criteria.
• Coordinate project resources, manage risks and issues, make decisions within assigned authority and communicate progress and results.
• Coach training coordinators, department trainers and leaders while directing project team members when appropriate.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in education, learning and development, organizational development, human resources, hospitality, business, psychology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in learning and development, talent development, organizational development, performance consulting, human resources, hospitality, operations or a related field.
• Experience applying adult learning principles and leading performance consultations.
• Experience designing and facilitating instructor-led learning solutions.
• Experience leading enterprise programs or complex initiatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, virtual meeting platforms and learning management systems or similar learning technologies.

It’s a plus if you have

• Experience influencing leaders and stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience supporting change enablement or evaluating learning effectiveness.
