We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is skilled in performing a multitude of maintenance functions in a team-oriented, world class production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.

Starting pay for this role is $29.81/hr (includes shift premium). First shift hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, motors, and control systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
• Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Manage equipment startups and shutdowns, changeovers, and production improvement initiative
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation within the COGZ system
• Walk the factory floor and proactively look for safety opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning projects
• Perform welding (MIG/TIG/Sick), fabrication, machining, and other advanced repair techniques as required
• Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians I and II on troubleshooting and maintenance best practices
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Perform other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with servo systems, VFDs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Proficient with COGZ software and maintenance documentation practices
• OSHA safety training or related certifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree, vocational training, or trade certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred
• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment
• Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and industrial automation equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Prolonged periods walking and working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent climbing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, or turning
• Repetitive use of hands and fingers to feel objects, tools, or controls
• Reach with hands and arms and twist at the waist
• Must be able to regularly lift/move 25 pounds and occasionally up to 55 pounds at a time 
• Visual acuity to read instructions, machines, and inspect parts produced
• Requires effective verbal communication and auditory comprehension
• Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and tolerate exposure to moderate noise level
• Must be able to tolerate occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles
• Ability to tolerate high-heat working conditions
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call schedules as required
