Pay & Benefits

• Pay Package:
  • Tier 1: Hourly/Callback: $275; 24-hour call: $1,975; Night Call: $700
  • Tier 2: Hourly/Callback: $276-290; 24-hour call: $2,200; Night Call: $701-$800

What You'll Do

• Assist with hospital rounding and consults in cardiothoracic, vascular, and cardiac surgeries
• Support elective and emergent procedures, including CABG, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
• Help in outpatient clinics and emergency situations as needed
• Remove chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and harvest veins and arteries when required
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document procedures and patient data accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need

• Ohio state license as a Physician Assistant
• Minimum 1+ year experience in surgical settings, specifically cardiac, thoracic, or vascular procedures
• Ability to cover scheduled dates: 8/22-8/27 and 8/31-9/14
• Proficiency in removal of chest tubes, epicardial wires, pulmonary artery catheters, IABP, and vessel harvesting preferred

• Prior experience assisting with complex surgical procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
