About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery for a 21-day assignment in Ohio, starting Aug 22, 2026. The chosen candidate will manage a 24-hour on-call schedule, performing hospital rounding, providing surgical and clinic assistance, taking call, and executing procedures such as the removal of chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and conducting vein and artery harvesting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform hospital rounding
- Provide surgical assistance
- Offer assistance in clinic
- Manage on-call duties
- Remove chest tubes
- Remove pulmonary artery catheters
- Remove epicardial wires
- Remove intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Conduct vein and artery harvesting
