• License/Certifications: Ohio Medical License, BLS, ACLS, PALS (if applicable)
• Experience: Minimum 1+ year surgical experience, preferred in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery

What You ll Do:

• Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Perform hospital rounding and provide perioperative support
• Support in elective and emergent surgeries
• Assist in outpatient clinic settings as needed
• Remove chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and perform vein and artery harvesting under supervision
• Collaborate with surgical and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Take on-call responsibilities, providing coverage for urgent and emergent cases

What You Need:

• Ohio medical license in good standing
• Minimum 1+ years of surgical experience, preferably in cardiac/vascular surgery
• Ability to cover scheduled dates and flexible shifts
• Key skills: Surgical assistance, patient care, teamwork, adaptability
• Preferred: Experience with chest tube removal, artery/vein harvesting, and intra-aortic balloon pump management
