Facility: Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Salary: $100,000/year
Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM
Job Description:
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a qualified Director of Maintenance to oversee all aspects of facility maintenance. This key role will involve ensuring the efficiency and safety of our facility, as well as leading a team responsible for maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of facility maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate departmental activities to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
Regularly inspect equipment and facility areas for performance, safety, and repair needs.
Manage maintenance staff, including scheduling, assignments, and training.
Maintain accurate records for repairs, warranties, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Ensure the facility meets all safety and legal standards.
Supervise and execute necessary repairs, upgrades, and renovations across the facility.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (experience in healthcare settings is a plus).
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to respond to emergency calls as needed.
Basic knowledge of nursing home building codes, regulations, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to multitask effectively and work independently.
