Billing Manager

National Law Firm is searching for a Billing Manager to lead and enhance its legal billing operations. This is a senior-level opportunity for a highly experienced professional with deep law firm expertise, strong technical acumen, and a proven ability to partner with attorneys and firm leadership in a fast‑paced, complex environment. What You’ll Do: Oversee the end‑to‑end billing lifecycle, including prebills, edits, final invoicing, write‑ups/downs, and adjustments Manage complex billing arrangements such as hourly billing, AFAs, capped fees, blended rates, retainers, and fixed‑fee structures Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, outside counsel requirements, and e‑billing standards Own and optimize billing systems (Finance Core, Coyote, Tabs), including troubleshooting, enhancements, and upgrades Develop reporting and dashboards to track billing performance, realization, and revenue metrics Partner directly with partners and senior attorneys on billing strategy, issue resolution, and client matters Support client audits, billing reviews, and complex inquiries Lead, mentor, and develop billing staff while ensuring accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery What You Bring: 10+ years of progressive billing experience within a law firm environment Hands‑on expertise with Finance Core, Coyote, and Tabs Deep understanding of legal billing compliance, client guidelines, and revenue cycles Strong knowledge of law firm financial operations, including realization and matter economics Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and financial analysis Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams Proven ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, leadership, and cross‑functional stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr DNA Partners LLC
