Seattle, Washington Phlebotomist / Laboratory Assistant Opportunity Tuesday–Saturday | 1:30P–10P | 5x8 Schedule | Epic | ASAP Start Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist / Laboratory Assistant for an ASAP-start opportunity in Seattle, Washington . This is a full-time 5x8 schedule combining hands-on phlebotomy with laboratory support responsibilities in a large teaching-hospital environment. Schedule Tuesday–Saturday | 1:30P–10P 5x8-hour shifts First week orientation: Monday–Friday | 6A–2:30P Weekend availability required No on-call requirement Floating within the hospital may be required What You'll Do Perform and support patient specimen collections according to laboratory protocols Troubleshoot pending orders, specimen draws, missing specimens and add-on testing Receive, scan, process and appropriately store specimens Locate patient results and generate reports/faxes as assigned Work confidently within laboratory and hospital computer systems, including LIS/HIS Maintain clean, organized and appropriately stocked work areas Prepare workspaces and maintain assigned laboratory equipment Receive, inventory and properly store laboratory supplies Handle and dispose of specimens and hazardous waste according to established safety protocols Help resolve laboratory workflow and customer-service issues, escalating to a lead or supervisor when appropriate Qualifications Active Washington MA-P license required 2 years of experience preferred; candidates with 1 year may be considered First-time travelers welcome Pending licenses cannot be accepted 281 staffed beds Teaching center Magnet-recognized environment Epic Any scrub color permitted Why Work With Rhino Medical Weekly direct deposit AAA-rated malpractice coverage Dedicated recruiter Transparent scheduling and onboarding Rhino Medical Always Forward.
