We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.     

We are seeking an experienced construction Tier 1 IT Support Specialist for our Pittsburgh office . 

What you will do:   

• Provide first-level technical support to over 600 users remotely and locally.  Utilizing helpdesk ticketing system, emails, and calls to resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues. 

• Provide support for desktop systems, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals. 

• Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access permissions. 

• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system. 

• Escalate complex problems to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support as needed. 

• Support onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and account provisioning. 

• Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to manage tasks. 
• Must be able to troubleshoot, identify, and provide technical solutions to end users.

What you will need to be successful:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or an Associate’s degree in a related field plus one or more of the following certifications: 

• CompTIA A+ 
• CompTIA Network+ 
• Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals (e.g., Azure, M365) 

• Basic understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, Microsoft Office, and common IT tools. 

• Strong communication and customer service skills. 

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues. 

• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced IT environment. 
• Participation in an on-call IT emergency response rotation.

• Experience with helpdesk call center environment. 

• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems. 

• Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. 

• Exposure to networking concepts and cybersecurity basics. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 admin center.

• CompTIA and Microsoft Certifications are not required, but are a plus.
