This role involves day-to-day regulatory oversight, data tracking, and close teamwork with operational staff to minimize environmental risks
- Key Responsibilitie sManage day-to-day facility compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Collect, track, and verify engineering data for regulatory agencies
- Oversee site permit systems for air, waste, and wastewater
- Lead facility environmental audits and regular site inspections
- Partner with production teams to resolve compliance gaps quickly
- Train manufacturing personnel on environmental policies and goals
- Qualification sEducation : Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or related field
- Experience : Minimum 4 to 6 years of environmental compliance experience
- Setting : Prior experience working directly within a manufacturing plant
- Air Programs : Familiarity with Air compliance is highly preferred
- Waste Programs : Knowledge of RCRA hazardous waste management is a plus
- Water Programs : Experience with NPDES water discharge regulations is a plus
- Reporting : Experience managing TRI (Form R) reporting is a plus
