Compensation Analyst

Compensation Analyst Location: Irving, TX, Gilbert, AZ, Westminster, CO, or Cedar Rapids, IA | Hybrid, four days onsite per week Employment Type: 6 month W2 contract Pay: Up to $40/hour, W2 Contractor Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, auxiliary benefit plans, and long-term and short-term disability (LTD/STD) offerings. Innovar Group is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support a growing construction and industrial services company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, and can turn salary research into clear recommendations for business leaders. Working closely with the Compensation Manager and HR team, you will help evaluate compensation for current employees, newly acquired businesses, and future hires. Your work will support market-aligned pay practices as the organization grows. What You’ll Do Analyze salary data and match positions to salary survey benchmarks to support recommendations for new roles, offers, and pay adjustments. Review compensation across existing teams and newly acquired businesses to identify differences and support alignment. Support short-term incentive programs through eligibility reviews, data collection, calculations, audits, and payout file preparation. Maintain and update salary structures, pay scales, and pay bands. Assist with job evaluations, grade recommendations, and the organization of job titles, families, and levels. Prepare, validate, and submit salary survey data and review survey results for accuracy. Create compensation reports and respond to ad hoc analysis requests. Communicate findings clearly while handling sensitive employee information with discretion. What You Bring One to two years of experience in compensation or an HR role with a strong analytical focus. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and working with large datasets. Experience working with salary surveys or compensation market data. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to investigate data discrepancies. The ability to collaborate with HR partners and business leaders. Sound judgment when handling confidential compensation information. Preferred Experience Construction, industrial services, or other commercial-sector experience. Familiarity with job architecture, salary structures, and pay bands. #J-18808-Ljbffr
