Mandatory Experience:

• Job Title: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse -
• Schedule: 3x12's / 36 Hours / D/N
• Schedule rotates every 4 weeks or 4weeks days/4weeks nights
• Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience.
• EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
• Certifications Required:
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • AHA Certifications only
• Skills Required:
  • Proficient in IV start
  • Experience with telemetry
  • Competency with ventilators
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous travel nursing experience
  • Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
• Specialized Experience in:
  • Multisystem Organ Failure
  • Respiratory Failure
  • COVID
  • Sepsis
  • Post-Cardiac Arrest
  • Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
  • Liver Failure
  • Renal Failure
• Special Equipment Knowledge:
  • NxStage CRRT
  • Alaris IV Pump
  • GE Cardiac Monitor
  • GE Ventilator
  • Boom Lift in Each Patient Room
