Accounting ManagerEisnerAmper's Real Estate group is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their rapidly growing team. This individual will be responsible for servicing public real estate clients, managing multi-entity portfolios of properties, both commercial and/or residential. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and be responsible for managing a team of accountants who perform all back-office accounting functions for clients.What It Means to Work for EisnerAmper:You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industryYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balanceYou will join a culture that has received multiple top "Places to Work" awardsWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutionsWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundationShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best workWhat Work You Will Be Responsible For:Manage a team of accountants who perform all back-office accounting functions for clients including reconciliations, bill and expense payment, payroll, and the creation of management reports and financial statementsResponsible for leading property/construction accounting for respective portfolioProvide insight and guidance to clients on how Real Estate technology (Yardi/other) can be utilized properly to manage the businessMaintain technical knowledge of lease accountingOversee property and lease setup, CAM reconciliation, and ensure accurate financial reportingManage deadlines and priorities to deliver high-quality client deliverablesSupport fixed asset and debt management processesCollaborate with offshore teams to optimize service deliveryBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field7+ years of experience in real estate accounting, managing multiple property entities (commercial, residential, and new construction)2+ years of managerial or supervisory experienceFull-cycle accounting experience, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and month-end closePreferred/Desired Skills:Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fieldCPA CertificationTechnical accounting and financial reporting experience in a public company or REITExperience with real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, and capital improvements)Hands-on experience of CAM reconciliations and property/lease setup in YardiExperience with fixed asset and debt managementStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial dataExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong project management and organizational skills for handling multi-entity portfolios and deadlinesEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
