This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. Responsible for client execution and timely delivery, of client’s work product by team membersDemonstrates ability to independently perform and assist with complex accounting services for clientLead global team with client work and developing skills, providing guidance and training on accounting principles and calculations, handling inquiries from clients and/or internal stake holders, understanding the industry and client challenges in order to provide solutions and improvements to their business and client deliverables, and looking for cross selling opportunities to provide value to your clientsLead business development initiatives in order to bring in revenue and grow out the Real Estate practiceLead training initiatives for a global team to ensure consistency and excellence across teamsPlay a strategic role in the sales cycle and business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise and client-facing insightsIdentify and execute internal upselling and cross-selling opportunities through deep understanding of service offerings and client needsDemonstrate advanced, specialized technical expertise that supports a premium bill rate and high-value client deliveryTimely complete duties associated with managing teams. Ensuring team is meeting goals and benchmarks for performance and execution of client work, such as delivering monthly financials, developing skills for career growth, working within budget and time parameters, etc.Complete duties associated with managing clients, developing and maintaining client relationship, including proactive communications, exceeding clients’ expectations, completing client billings timely and assist with the managing accounts receivableDevelops expertise in use of all technology necessary for performance execution, ensures quality control procedures are being executed and adhered to by all team members, identify areas for process improvement for client work and/or practice operationsSeeks opportunities to participate in mentoring, recruiting, retention and team-building activitiesConducts oneself professionally and always shows respect to othersFollows regulations and professional ethics of the AICPA and the state societyMaintains appropriate compliance with all firm wide and local office policies and proceduresProactively develop relationships and proactive communications with clients, staff, and internal stakeholders.Responds timely and accurately to internal team and client requestsSolicit internal experts from across the Firm to assist in providing solutions for client challenges Drive recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of new staff, fostering a technically proficient and high-performing teamSupport the development of the Real Estate CAS team, including defining service offerings, recruiting top talent, and establishing operational infrastructure to support scalable growthYOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have:BA required. MBA and/or CPA license a plusExperience leading business development and sales initiativesProven ability to drive and lead corporate accounting processes and procedures such as cash management, AR/AP, month end close, payroll and benefitsStrong GAAP experience along with hands on experience performing controllership functions related to consolidations, GL close and financial reportingStrong Real Estate experienceStrong communication, documentation, and presentation skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skills, being highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project)Yardi, QuickBooks, NetSuite, R365, and Sage Intacct experience preferredStrong project and time management skillsAccuracy and attention to detail. Action-oriented (self-starter, team player, detail-oriented)Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlinesSignificant knowledge of accounting and finance processes and functions.
