About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP/Director of Mortgage Lending to provide strategic leadership and drive the growth, profitability, and compliance of its residential mortgage lending division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the division's lending strategy, setting and achieving production and market share goals, and ensuring the division operates within all federal and state regulations. This executive will also be a key member of the senior leadership team, partnering with various banking sectors to meet the company's strategic objectives. Applicants for the EVP/Director of Mortgage Lending position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years' progressive experience in mortgage lending, including 7 years in a leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in residential mortgage lending, secondary market operations, and a deep understanding of various lending guidelines and compliance. Experience in community or regional banking and a proven track record of managing mortgage teams through changing interest-rate environments are also essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic planning, have a keen eye for market opportunities, and be skilled in building and maintaining referral relationships to enhance the customer experience and expand the company's market share.
