The company values professionalism, accountability, and strong client relationships. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Specialist role based in Troy, MI. The Sales Specialist will handle incoming and outbound sales inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up with prospects to convert leads into booked shipments. This role includes building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their transportation needs, and presenting appropriate service options. The Sales Specialist will coordinate closely with operations to ensure accurate scheduling and service delivery, while managing customer expectations throughout the process. Daily responsibilities also include updating CRM or sales tracking systems, preparing basic reports, and participating in team meetings and training to improve sales skills and product knowledge. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly, professionally, and empathetically with diverse customers and internal teams. Proven ability in Sales and Sales Management, including qualifying leads, closing deals, and managing a sales pipeline. Experience in Training or willingness to learn and support peers through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, automotive, or a related industry is preferred but not required. Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM or sales software, and accurate data entry. Ability to work on‑site full time in Troy, MI, manage multiple tasks, and meet performance targets. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email. Provide proactive updates, manage expectations, and address escalations with professionalism. Effective problem‑solving skills and sound judgment in fast‑paced environments. High attention to detail with strong organizational and time‑management skills. Prior experience in the auto transport industry preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
