Job Description

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment and demonstrate a history of growing an organization through recruiting, retaining, and developing a skilled labor workforce and management team. • Direct partnership with leadership to influence and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to recruiting, retention, and succession planning
\n
• Manages the talent acquisition process, understanding skills and competencies required to recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates, particularly for skilled trade positions and professional roles
\n
• Administers new hire and cross training programs.
\n
• Provides support and guidance to Leadership Staff when complex or sensitive issues arise such as reasonable accommodations, investigating complaints, disciplinary actions, and terminations
\n
• Recommends professional development opportunities for management, and leaders.
\n
• Evaluate compensation and benefits trends to ensure competitive and effective programs
\n
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws and recommends best practices
\n
• Owns payroll administration of data changes, accuracy, deductions, reporting and issue resolution
\n
• Creates and enforces HR policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance
\n

Required Experience and Skills:

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field is required
\n
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment
\n
• SHRM or HRCI Professional Certification are highly desired
\n
• Articulate verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Manage organization and competing priorities independently in a hands-on environment
\n
• Behaviors that model integrity and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality
\n
• Strong working knowledge of HRIS, Payroll and MS Office applications
