Job Responsibilities
- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to create individualized therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional objectives
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday activities
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care
- Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers effective therapy methods to encourage sustained progress at home
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure alignment with patient goals
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ongoing professional development and postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
