We are seeking a dynamic team-player for an Accountant II position.Apply to be part of our team if you are interested in a challenging career working with a dedicated team of professionals serving the city that consistently ranks as one of the best places to live.As an Accountant II you will:Prepare Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reimbursement packages after working with project managers to ensure project expenditures fall within the scope of VDOT programs. This position will be responsible for managing and recording VDOT revenues on the general ledger to ensure all revenue accruals are recorded and the project revenues are tracked with program agreements, in addition to other duties as assigned.The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting with a State or local government and experience with construction contracts.
