This internship is for students who want to work with their hands, be outside every day, and learn construction from the ground up . If you’re not afraid to get dirty and want real field experience instead of sitting behind a desk, this role is for you.

This is a 100% field-based internship with very limited desk work. You’ll be part of a high-performing construction team on an active job site in Hampton Roads , learning directly from experienced professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work alongside ACE field teams and report directly to the Project Superintendent . This role is all about learning how construction actually happens — from basic labor skills to understanding how different trades work together on large infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Learn and perform basic labor and trade work as a Skilled Laborer
• Develop hands-on experience across multiple construction disciplines
• Assist with daily field operations and job site activities
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures

Trades You’ll Be Exposed To
• Earthwork
• Concrete
• Mechanical piping
• Mechanical equipment
• Subcontractor work including Electrical, I&C, and HVAC

• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Interest in construction, skilled trades, or field supervision
