About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Institutional Research and Assessment to lead the strategic data, assessment, and decision-support agenda. The successful candidate will be responsible for the enterprise-level leadership of the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, ensuring the use and reporting of official institutional data and statistics. This role is pivotal in advancing institutional effectiveness, informing executive decision-making, and supporting the company's mission. The Executive Director will also be at the forefront of data governance, stewardship, and architecture, with a focus on secure, accurate, and reliable data that meets regulatory and institutional requirements. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a strong background in institutional research and assessment, with a proven track record in data governance and enterprise business intelligence. The role requires the ability to build and lead a team, as well as to work in partnership with various stakeholders to ensure the responsible and ethical use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing data-informed decision-making practices and will be adept at building campus-wide capacity in this area. A deep understanding of the higher education landscape, including accreditation, and a commitment to the values of sustainability, inclusive excellence, and student engagement are essential.
