Principal Customer Success Manager, FA&D

Job Overview Customer Success Manager on the PTC Customer Success Management team, responsible for the growth and success of Enterprise customers by maximizing value from PTC solutions. Qualifications (Required) 8+ years of Customer Success, Project Management, Program Management or relevant industry experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience U.S. Citizen – eligibility under U.S. Government export control regulations and federal customer requirements Ability to travel ~25% of time Preferred Skills & Experience Domain experience with CAD, PLM or ALM software and understanding of implementation in those domains Experience working with clients in the Federal Aerospace and Defense vertical (plus) Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for multiple audiences from executive decision-makers to staff at all levels Broad understanding of business functions and priorities, and ability to translate technical and operational issues into business terms and value propositions Basic understanding of project management and ability to multi‑task while coordinating activities in a matrix environment Responsibilities Advance PTC’s relationship with Direct Strategic/Enterprise and Commercial customers, working with high‑visibility accounts in the Federal Aerospace and Defense industry Establish and maintain the partnership operating framework, ensuring stakeholder engagement to drive effective adoption, expansion and renewal Act as a trusted advisor for the client’s executive, program and technical teams, collaborating tightly with PTC stakeholders Serve as the voice of the customer within PTC, providing critical feedback to enhance product quality and identify market growth opportunities Contribute as an integral member of the account team(s); identify and react to new threats/opportunities, maintain proactive engagement, and provide account management support Effectively manage critical adoption programs for key accounts as designated by the Customer Success and Sales Regional Directors, ensuring rapid and successful adoption of solutions and realization of customer value Competencies Integrity & Trust: established record of trust, transparent communication, and integrity in all interactions Composure: stays calm under pressure and is reliable during challenging situations Organizational Agility: understands organizational dynamics and navigates both formal and informal networks to achieve results Compensation Annual salary range: $113,850 - $161,000 (includes base salary and potential on‑target incentive compensation). Additional equity, share‑purchase, and benefits may be available depending on role and location.
