Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and interpersonal issues.

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify client needs and create individualized treatment plans that outline measurable goals and therapeutic strategies.

• Collaborate regularly with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to ensure holistic treatment approaches that consider different aspects of a client's life.

• Keep meticulous and confidential electronic health records to document all client interactions, treatment outcomes, and ongoing evaluations in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development through training sessions, workshops, and peer review meetings to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

• Respond to crisis situations with prompt assessments and interventions, providing immediate support to clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base ranges from children to adults seeking assistance for various mental health conditions. In this role, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing acute mental health crises as well as those in long-term therapy aimed at managing chronic conditions. Your understanding of different socio-cultural backgrounds and mental health challenges will enhance our personalized approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Washington.

• At least two years of direct experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals and groups.

• Competency in electronic health record systems to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
