Overview

We are seeking a detailoriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a highvolume accounting team on a temptohire basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong AP fundamentals who thrives in a fastpaced, handson environment and is looking for longterm stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to payment
  
  
• Perform 2way and 3way matching for PObased invoices
  
  
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
  
  
• Scan invoices into the document management system
  
  
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
  
  
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  
  
• Process employee expense reports
  
  
• Maintain and update vendor records
  
  
• Support 1099 maintenance and reporting
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  
• 2+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  
  
• Strong data entry and general math skills
  
  
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highvolume, fastpaced environment
  
• Strong work ethic and reliability
