Bellwood Developmental Center, an 82 bed ICF/DD Facility, is looking for experienced, creative & dependable Full Time & Part Time Registered Nurses (RN) for all shifts to join our dynamic, caring, progressive and close-knit community. $5,000 Sign on Bonus available! Competitive Salaries!

Registered Nurses (RN) Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to intellectually and developmentally disabled patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Registered Nurses (RN) Qualifications:

• Previous RN experience providing health care services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred but not required
• Previous RN experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
