Principal Civil Engineer
FindTalent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team. The client company is a leading utilities powerhouse that are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in site design and foundation design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Design and develop site plans, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
- Perform foundation design for various structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site design and foundation design.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.).
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
