Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Beneficial Insect Specialist to support and enhance our biological pest control program. This role is responsible for the development, rearing, and optimization of beneficial insect populations used within our greenhouse operations. This is a hands‑on and research‑driven role requiring strong technical knowledge in entomology and greenhouse agriculture. Key Responsibilities Develop, establish, and optimize rearing protocols for beneficial insects used in greenhouse production Maintain and scale insect colonies to meet internal production demands Monitor insect health, reproduction, and environmental conditions Identify and troubleshoot issues in rearing systems and implement corrective actions Conduct research and literature reviews on insect biology, behavior, and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies Design and support experiments and trials, including data collection and analysis Collaborate with growing and production teams to align biological control strategies with crop needs Collect specimens and maintain detailed records of colony performance and outcomes Qualifications Master’s or PhD in Entomology, Biology, or a related field (preferred). Bachelor’s degree with robust relevant experience will be considered.
