The Role We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Client Executive/Sales leader who will manage relationships with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and its affiliate federal agencies. In this role, you will oversee assigned customer accounts as well as a team of subordinate members, working towards the common goal of surpassing sales targets. Ideal candidates preferably reside in the National Capital Region (DC, MD, VA). Main Responsibilities Contribute to the overall strategy for the sales channel. Assist Lumen's proposal and capture team in bids, proposals, and solution development. Drive sales and process development, promoting key messages and engaging supporting functions. Perform competitor analysis and market positioning to enhance strategic service levels within the sales teams. Focus on account development and growth. Ensure accurate forecasting of sales opportunities and effective funnel management. Build partnerships across the industry. Allocate appropriate resources to drive sales. Act as the main point of contact for customers, actively addressing their challenges. Exhibit a thorough understanding of the sales order cycle and federal government contracting procedures. Lead and manage team members to exceed sales targets. What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of technical sales experience; at least 5 years of selling to the VA is preferred. Minimum of two years in a leadership role, managing and influencing key client relationships at the executive level. Advanced knowledge of and connections with C-level VA decision-makers are a plus. Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to mentor and guide others. Self-motivated with a proven ability to excel both independently and within a team. Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. Proficient with MS Office, Salesforce, and other relevant systems. Compensation This role offers a competitive base salary that reflects current national data, with potential adjustments based on location, skills, and experience. The pay ranges for specific states are as follows:

• 126,518 - $168,683 in states such as AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY.
• 132,847 - $177,122 in states such as CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI.
• 139,166 - $185,552 in states including AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
