Key Qualifications:

• Holds an active California Moderate/Severe (Mod/Severe) Special Education Credential
• Prior experience teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities (ESN strongly preferred)
• Ability to develop and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Capable of collaborating effectively with families, support staff, and other educators
• Passion for fostering student independence and preparing youth for post-high school life

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with moderate to severe needs throughout the school year
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
• Collaborate with staff and families to facilitate smooth transitions and holistic student growth
• Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance social, academic, and life skills
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
