Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Special Education credential appropriate for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe needs (as required by state guidelines)
• Experience engaging and supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral challenges, ideally in ESN and/or transition settings
• Strong commitment to individualized instruction and IEP implementation
• Collaborative skills and flexibility to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Proficient with case management, data tracking, and compliance documentation
• Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, in-person instruction for students with special needs in a middle school, high school, or transition program setting
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ IEP goals and developmental levels
• Utilize adaptive strategies and materials to maximize student potential and participation
• Oversee IEP case management, progress monitoring, and related documentation according to district and state requirements
• Collaborate with support staff, related service providers, and family members to ensure holistic student support
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed
