Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Background:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (moderate/severe or equivalent).
• Experience working with students with extensive support needs, at the middle or transition program levels.
• Committed to providing individualized instruction and behavioral supports.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers.
• Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Resilient, flexible, and enthusiastic about inclusive practices.

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct instruction to ESN students, adapting curriculum to diverse learning profiles.
• Design and implement IEPs, ensuring goals are met through data-driven approaches.
• Foster a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and independence.
• Partner with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education staff to optimize student outcomes.
• Communicate routinely with parents and caregivers about student progress and strategies for continued success.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning.
