Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Lake in the Hills, IL at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and ensure functional programs support return to community activities. Maintain patient and employee safety, adhere to professional standards and documentation requirements, and participate in performance improvement and student education activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with comprehensive patient evaluations, goal writing, functional outcome assessment, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to supervise and provide direction for students and support staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in outpatient clinic settings and managing caseloads with varied musculoskeletal and functional diagnoses.
• Demonstrated participation in professional development and performance improvement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8, Monday through Friday.
• Clinician will work in an outpatient setting and may be expected to follow clinic scheduling and appearance guidelines.
