Sales Manager, Commercial Modular Manufacturing

Position Objective: The sales manager is responsible for developing new client relationships, managing key accounts, and driving sales of modular building solutions in a variety of industries. They are also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all quotes for projects and provide the quotes to customers. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage/direct the activities of all sales department personnel including evaluating performance, training/coaching, and adherence to policies/procedures
• Research all special pricing, code compliance and structural requirements of projects
• Provide support to dealers for bidding projects
• Ensure estimators are properly trained
• Provide competitive and accurate estimates of projects for all assigned customers; follow up on outstanding bids/projects
• Provide project submittals
• Assess cost for change orders, red line changes, and parts orders for dealers
• Provide accurate and timely sales release packages to engineering
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, technical validity, and quality factoring of all quotes
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in modular construction or site-built construction
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations and production scheduling
• Strong knowledge of modular building solutions
