Head of Regional Sales About the Company Expanding engineering company Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Permanent Head of Region West Coast for its Engineering division. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand the customer base in the west coast region. This pivotal role involves building and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition. The Head of Region will also be responsible for leading the west coast team, fostering a high-performance culture, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. A key aspect of the position is the ability to drive the sales process, from initial outreach to closure, and to provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. Applicants for the Head of Region West Coast position should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with an MBA considered an asset. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within the engineering industry is required, along with a proven track record in sales and market strategy execution. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and have a deep understanding of the west coast market. Leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is a self-motivated, results-driven approach. The role demands a natural relationship builder with a strong sense of integrity, reliability, and maturity, who can balance team support with a supervisory role and is adept at managing time and projects with a keen attention to detail.
