Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please be prepared to provide a copy upon request
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting preferred
• Thorough understanding of special education procedures, IEP implementation, and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating individualized plans for academic success

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource room instruction and support to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Adapt and modify curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Conduct regular progress monitoring and data collection to ensure student growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere

This opportunity offers a structured schedule with approximately 33.25 hours per week throughout the school year, allowing you to focus on both professional impact and work-life balance. The assignment is set from August 17, 2026, to May 27, 2027, providing structure and stability.
