Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two full-time contract opportunities are open for dedicated Special Education Teachers ready to work in a collaborative school environment near Pleasant Prairie, WI. Both positions focus on supporting early learners in inclusive classroom settings with the assistance of a paraeducator.
Available Opportunities:
Position 1:
- Elementary caseload with 2 students, possible growth up to 7
- Students exhibit significant behavioral needs
- Classroom para provided for enhanced support
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM to 3:30PM
Position 2:
- Elementary caseload with 7 students, may increase to 8
- Students identified with physical disabilities and Autism
- Classroom para to assist with daily activities
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM to 3:30PM
Qualifications:
- Valid WI Cross Categorical K-5 Teaching Certification is required
- Experience or passion for working with students who have behavioral challenges, physical disabilities, and/or Autism preferred
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit for partnering with support staff
- Proven organizational skills and adaptability to changing caseloads
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and develop learning strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom culture
- Lead and collaborate with a paraeducator in daily classroom management
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain regular communication with families and related service staff
