Legal Secretary

Top rated Hill Country estate planning law firm, McCammon Law, is looking for a new legal secretary to start immediately. The ideal candidate will not only have the necessary administrative skills, but will also possess a warm professional personality, creating a positive first impression for all who interact with our firm and be a positive team player. Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer, direct and return incoming calls promptly and efficiently. Handle client inquiries and provide basic information about the firm's services. Schedule appointments, make follow up calls and maintain calendar for the firm. Coordinate the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail. Assist in county court filings, deed recordings, document scanning and other related work. Professionally collaborate and work with other staff and attorneys to ensure smooth office operations. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Perform other administrative and legal tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and demeanor for estate planning clientele. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Gmail, and Mac computers a plus. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus. Notary license will be considered an advantage in the hiring process. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Local Boerne area residents preferred.
