Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Travel - Temporary Assignment
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
Start date: 07/20/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $800-$841 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 | Shift: Day/Mid Rotation 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM | Setting: emergency department in an acute care environment

This travel nursing opening is for an ED RN with 2+ years of ER experience. A BSN is required. Local or travel candidates are welcome at the same bill rate. RTO will be considered but must include 3 shifts per week across the full 13 weeks with no exceptions.

Responsibilities
- Triage and initial patient assessment in a high-acuity ED setting; prioritize care based on condition
- Monitor patient status, interpret vitals, and respond to deteriorating conditions promptly
- Initiate and manage IV access, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians for orders
- Perform essential nursing procedures (wound care, drainage management, wound care, specimen collection) and assist with procedures
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and communicate with the care team to ensure patient safety
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals as appropriate

Requirements
- Education: BSN required
- Experience: ED/ER nursing with 2+ years of recent ER experience
- Schedule/willingness: Able to work the Day/Mid Rotation 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM schedule; EOW coverage as required
- RTO policy: RTO will be considered but must commit to all 13 weeks, with 3 shifts per week
- Setting: able to work in a high-acuity emergency department environment
