Today, the Yoseka team serves the stationery community everyday through their online store, social media content, and in-store customer service. Description The Warehouse Manager oversees all operations within the warehouse to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain high productivity while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Proficiency with Shopify is essential for managing inventory, order fulfillment, and tracking e-commerce operations. Responsibilities : Operations Management : Manage daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics. Plan and coordinate the efficient movement of goods and materials. Monitor and optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization. Inventory Control : Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate records through regular audits. Utilize Shopify to manage and update inventory, process orders, and track shipments. Implement and monitor stock control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies. Work with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock. Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations. Ensure workloads are distributed effectively to meet operational goals. Safety and Compliance : Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment. Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations. Process Improvement : Analyze warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Introduce and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) alongside Shopify for seamless operations. Shopify Management : Use Shopify to manage orders, monitor fulfillment processes, and ensure timely shipping. Integrate inventory systems with Shopify for accurate real‑time stock levels. Troubleshoot any issues within Shopify related to inventory discrepancies or order fulfillment. Reporting and Analysis : Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including productivity, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. Monitor and control warehouse budgets and expenses. Customer Service : Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction. Resolve any issues related to deliveries, inventory shortages, or damaged goods. Qualifications : Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role. Proficiency in Shopify for managing e‑commerce inventory and fulfillment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and logistics. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with safety and compliance standards. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management. Experience managing e‑commerce operations and platforms such as Shopify is required.
