Direct message the job poster from Civilized People Job Responsibilities This role will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse functions of a commissary kitchen, including shipping, receiving, loading dock operations, and supervising a team of 100 warehouse staff to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks. Job Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish 3 - 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse/food production setting Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise a diverse workforce Demonstrated decision-making ability and leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to supervise, motivate, and train teams within a multi-department operation Knowledge of product rotation and dating policies to ensure product freshness Experience in controlling inventory, avoiding over/under stock, and minimizing product loss Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, local, and industry regulations related to warehouse operations Ability to instruct in the proper use of equipment to maintain safety and sanitary standards Facilitate coordination and communication between departments to promote organization Handle internal issues efficiently and effectively Support store locations' needs in a timely manner Work on special warehouse and company initiatives and projects as needed Responsibilities & Duties Supervise, motivate, and train teams within a multi-department operation Ensure product freshness by adhering to rotation and dating policies Manage inventory to prevent over/under stock and minimize product loss Adhere to all relevant regulations pertaining to warehouse operations Instruct on the proper use of equipment to ensure safety and sanitation Coordinate and communicate across departments for consistency and organization Address internal issues promptly Follow company policies and procedures with a hands-on management style Support the needs of all store locations in a timely fashion Additional Information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Location and Salary Clifton, NJ - $110,000.00-$130,000.00 1 month ago #J-18808-Ljbffr
