At its core, Lucky Honey is built around the intersection of movement, fashion, and community . Role Description The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving and organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate order picking, packing, and shipping for our eCommerce site. The Warehouse Manager coordinates with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to maintain smooth inbound and outbound flows. Responsibilities include monitoring warehouse safety, supervising and scheduling team members, maintaining equipment and storage systems, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics and supporting seasonal and promotional inventory demands. Key responsibilities Warehouse and Fulfillment Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping Manage, train, and support the Warehouse Team Lead Establish daily and weekly priorities for warehouse employees Improve workflow efficiency, order accuracy, safety, cleanliness, and organization Ensure accurate receiving, inventory counts, and reconciliations Inventory Management Own inventory accuracy, controls, and reporting Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Develop and maintain inventory systems and standard operating procedures Team and Labor Management Manage employee schedules with support from the Warehouse Team Lead Oversee time tracking, payroll inputs, and labor efficiency Identify staffing needs and make hiring or termination recommendations Support employee onboarding, training, development, and performance management Enterprise and Wholesale Operations Oversee enterprise and wholesale operations with support from the Leadership Team Prepare the operation for large orders, partnerships, and special projects Coordinate timelines, logistics, and fulfillment for enterprise clients Monitor capacity and proactively identify risks Reporting and Process Improvement Provide regular reports on inventory, fulfillment performance, capacity, staffing needs, and operational risks Build and improve standard operating procedures Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements Support forecasting, capacity planning, and operational scaling Ensure growth does not compromise quality or accuracy What We’re Looking For Experience leading warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or similar operations Strong people-management and employee-development skills A practical, hands-on leadership style Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities Experience creating or improving operational processes and SOPs Comfort working with inventory data, reporting, and performance metrics Clear communication and sound judgment The ability to balance daily execution with longer-term operational planning Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of hands-on experience using Shopify to manage orders, fulfillment, inventory, returns, and customer or wholesale operations 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, inventory management, logistics, or a related operational role Previous experience supervising, training, and developing warehouse or fulfillment employees Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $70,000 annually Full-time, exempt position 10 days of paid time off annually Paid company holidays Elective medical, dental, and vision insurance, with Lucky Honey covering 50% of the monthly premium Additional benefits administered through Justworks Lucky Honey is an at-will employer.
