Accounting Assistant

Johnson Service Group is seeking an Accounting Associate in Orange County, CA. Work Arrangement Hybrid position Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Compensation Pay rate: $30.00 per hour DOE. Responsibilities Daily in and out cash transactions reporting. Data validation. Assisting with month‑end close reporting. Willingness to support month‑end close, audit, and compliance activities. Ability to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed financial reports. Occasional participation in control testing and audit processes. Qualifications Strong Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles. Demonstrated integrity and a collaborative team mindset. Nice to Have Skills Experience with insurance products such as vehicle service contracts or GAP insurance. Prior experience in audit support and financial statement preparation. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. 1 year of experience in accounting, with industry‑specific knowledge advantageous.
