Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, strong technical and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of quality, process improvement, and CNC manufacturing.

This role will work closely with production, engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, product quality, safety, and overall manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, methods, and systems.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and other departments to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of production and process problems.
• Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize CAD software to create, review, and modify technical drawings and designs.
• Support CNC programming and manufacturing operations as needed.
• Manage engineering and process improvement projects from conception through completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Train and support production employees on new processes, equipment, procedures, and work instructions.
• Review manufacturing data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable quality, safety, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred/required.
• Candidates with a university program certificate, 2-4 years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and production methods.
• Experience with quality control, process improvement, and root-cause analysis .
• Knowledge and proficiency in CNC programming .
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, specifications, and documentation.
• Strong mathematical skills, including geometry, trigonometry, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $47.00 per hour
