Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights 7P - 7:30A
- Must be available to work various days of the week
- Minimum every other weekend
- Minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
- RN - Registered Nurse license (Single State or Multi-state Compact) required upon hire
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required within 180 days
- TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course certification required within 18 months
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 180 days
- Less than 1 year of experience with direct patient care preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care
- Perform emergency procedures as needed and respond to crises in a timely manner
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans

Compliance / Notes:
- A completed cover sheet is required for each submission
- Must participate in orientation and comply with background check and drug screen policies
