Albany Auto Group is seeking a full-time Title Clerk for our Latham dealership!
Do you have experience working in a dealership, working on completing paperwork related to sales? You will work directly with our sales consultants and F&I Managers to complete deals, stock new cars, and trade. This is an integral position requiring attention to detail, previous experience as a Title/Billing clerk and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Prepare tax and title documents
- Submit all legal transfer documents to the state DMV(s)
- Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department
- Match MSO to title paperwork to submit to DMV(s)
- Prepare and post checks in the accounting system
- Receive plates from DMV and expedite to dealerships/customers
- Compile the weekly title in the transit report in Microsoft Excel
- Light accounting- balancing accounts
- Professional communication skills
- Good computer skills
- A notary or the ability to obtain a Notary Public is a plus
Experience with CDK or another automotive software package is preferred.
Must possess experience as a Title/Billing clerk or similar role with an automotive dealership.
