The Food Service Worker-Utility plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of food service operations within a retail trade environment. This position ensures that all food preparation and dining areas meet health and safety standards, contributing to a positive customer experience. The role involves supporting kitchen staff by performing essential utility tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, and waste management, which are critical to smooth daily operations. The Food Service Worker-Utility also assists in stocking supplies and may help with basic food preparation under supervision. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or retail trade environments.
• Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cleaning equipment and perform routine maintenance to keep the work environment safe and functional.
