Description:
Seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a 26-bed inpatient adult behavioral health department.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
The patient population includes adults aged 55 and older with behavioral health diagnoses.
Dementia and bipolar disorder are the most common diagnoses.
This unit is equipped with a seclusion room, but 1:1 staffing is not available at this time.
Physical restraints are utilized as needed.
The shift is composed of 12-hour rotations with weekend requirements of at least every third weekend.
Holiday staffing is mandatory.
The charting system in use is EPIC.
Candidates are required to hold a valid nursing license and BLS certification.
This position offers guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
