Patient Access Technician, Day Shift, Outpatient Rehabilitation Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Patient Access Technician for our Outpatient Rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Patient Access Technician, you will: Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs by accurately capturing patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed Maintain the department's cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed Complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred – Associate degree in a health-related field Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full Time Typical Daily Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-5 Shift Type: Day Holiday Requirements: Required Pay Range: $19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
